At the airport ready to fly to Roma! The airport works differently here, we have a checkin number and a departure number, instead of going to a terminal. And then we head to the gate, which is where you go through security, so there is security at each gate. Then you wait in a pre- waiting area at the gate, and then they pre-board you, which means scan your ticket and wait in another waiting room. So we are currently pre-boarded and ready to fly! We have a short layover in Gatwick before continuing to our destination.
Italy here we come!
